2 Scope & definitions
“Research Chemicals” means any chemical reagent, peptide, or related analytical standard supplied by PPTDE+ that is not listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG) and is not packaged or labelled for human or veterinary use.
“Purchaser” means the individual or organisation that places an order via PPTDE.ONLINE and accepts these terms.
3 Purchaser declarations
By electronically ticking “I agree” at checkout or by signing a physical copy of this Agreement, the Purchaser certifies that:

Age & competence – They are ≥ 18 years of age, are legally competent, and possess the technical knowledge, equipment, and facilities to handle hazardous laboratory chemicals safely.

Intended use – All items purchased from PPTDE+ are acquired solely for legitimate in‑vitro laboratory, analytical, or educational purposes and will not be:
• ingested, injected, inhaled, implanted, or otherwise introduced into humans or animals;
• used as food, feed, drugs, cosmetics, agricultural chemicals, household products, or medical devices;
• re‑sold or advertised for performance‑enhancement, tanning, bodybuilding, or any therapeutic application. -
Regulatory compliance – They will comply with all relevant Commonwealth, State, and Territory legislation, including (where applicable):
• Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 (Cth) and associated Poisons Standard (SUSMP);
• Customs (Prohibited Imports) Regulations 1956;
• Work Health & Safety Regulations in their jurisdiction; and
• local environmental / waste‑disposal rules. -
Permits & licences – They will obtain and maintain any import permits, storage licences, or notification certificates required under the above legislation or under NICNAS (AICIS) for industrial chemicals.

Safety measures – They will employ adequate risk controls (PPE, fume hood, containment, spill kit, first‑aid procedures) and ensure that all personnel handling the products are trained in chemical safety.

Record‑keeping – They will maintain purchase and usage records and will provide such records to regulatory authorities upon lawful request.

Indemnity – They indemnify and hold harmless PPTDE+, its officers, employees, and agents against any claim, loss, damage, penalty, or expense arising from the purchase, possession, storage, or use of the products supplied.

Liability limitation – To the maximum extent permitted by law, PPTDE+ limits its liability to the replacement or refund of the purchase price of the goods; PPTDE+ will not be liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

No waiver – Failure of PPTDE+ to enforce any clause of this Agreement shall not constitute a waiver of that clause.

Governing law – This Agreement is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute arising hereunder shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of NSW.
4 Supplier acceptance
PPTDE+ confirms that, upon receipt of a properly completed declaration and payment in cleared funds, the goods will be dispatched in accordance with the Purchaser’s shipping instructions, together with an electronic copy of the relevant Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and Certificate of Analysis (CoA) for each batch.
Important: If you cannot accept all of the above terms, do not complete your purchase. PPTDE+ reserves the right to cancel and refund any order that appears non‑compliant with this Agreement, applicable regulations, or our internal risk policies.
